About Goose Rocks Beach
Goose Rocks Beach is a very quiet section of Kennebunkport, located on the outskirts away from town. Beautiful, Bermuda type three-mile long beach with views of islands and offering small tidal pools for the young children to enjoy.
A part of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge protects the area and habitat. Two tidal rivers bordering the each side of the beach provide pleasant views and spectacular bird watching. A true family atmosphere!
Goose Rocks offers a General Store, two inns, with a restaurant and pub and our office. Nothing else commercial can be found in the area, but we are just a few miles from area restaurants and grocery stores.
Five miles from Goose Rocks is Dock Square, the center of Kennebunkport. You’ll find art galleries, small clothing and gift shops, fine and leisurely dining, ice cream parlors, boat excursions, harbor views and historic homes. We also have three golf courses nearby and tennis courts at the Goose Rocks Beach Community House. In nearby towns you’ll find antique shops and amusement parks.
